Have the wedding of your dreams; have the ceremony you want, where you want it, on any day and at any time.

I write and conduct weddings, civil partnerships and renewal of vows within a 50 mile radius of Leeds, West Yorkshire (I am also able to travel further afield with travel costs being negotiated).

Traditionally wedding ceremonies are either religious or conducted by a Registrar. These choices may not suit you – not the fully religious church ceremony, nor the completely non-religious ceremony taken by a registrar that must be conducted at the Register Office or in a designated room at a registered venue.

You might want your ceremony to be held in a place of special significance to you. Perhaps you want to celebrate with family and friends after marrying abroad or you may even want a themed ceremony. You can have your ceremony almost anywhere, you are not limited to a licensed venue: in a marquee or a tepee, at the zoo, in the ruins of an abbey, on the beach or even in a meadow – the choice is yours.

You may want to celebrate a significant milestone in your marriage by renewing your vows and to exchange new rings or tokens. Renewal of vows ceremonies are arranged just as the wedding ceremonies but your 'story' will be written and celebrated by drawing on the life you have lived together.

I am not a Registrar so you will have to 'do the legal bit' at the Registrar’s Office beforehand. This is a very simple short ceremony and many couples choose to do this either the day before or on the morning of the ceremony.

I will meet with you and also ask you to fill in a questionaire,I feel it is vital to establish a good relationship with the couple, and, after listening carefully to your ideas and wishes I will write a ceremony that will combine your personal stories with your values and beliefs. I can include some religious elements, including religious content for couples with different faiths. I will create a ceremony that will be so special and personal to you, and your wedding ceremony will be like no other; it will be truly yours.

This memorable ceremony will include your unique vows and the exchanging of rings. You may want to include meaningful poems and readings; to involve those closest to you with a special ceremony such as handfasting, unity sand or candles, jumping the broom, or even to create a ceremony of your own.

You will receive a draft for approval and we will agree on the final version.

I will choreograph the event and there will be a rehearsal, usually the day before, with bridesmaids, groomsmen and anyone who is contributing, and together we will run through the logistics of it all. On the 'Big Day' I will conduct your ceremony in a professional manner, whilst you can relax and enjoy your very special day.

I can provide a certificate which can be signed by you and your witnesses.
